## Welcome to all happy Kayak people in Öresund

#### The summer season ends and the fall and winter paddling awaits

Last weekend in September, we invite kayak enthusiasts from all over the Öresund region for the annual Kayak Kalaset here on our lovely island Ven, in the middle of the strait. With this unique event, we want to celebrate the end of the summer season and all the amazing experiences that water life has offered us.

At the same time, it gives us the opportunity to look forward to the challenges and adventures that fall and winter have in store for us as paddlers.

### The "Kajak Kalaset" program 2024

**Friday 27th of September:**

Early weekend - paddle to the Island of Ven

17.00 - 21.00 Chill after paddle - pizza buffet and salad (Booking)

18.00 Grills on

Open fireplaces outside is on

SURPRISE - New sauna is maybe on (booking)

 

**Saturday 28th of September **

**- The Kayak Kalaset Day:**

08.30 - 10.00 Breakfast

10.00-14.00 (early check in)

15.00 - 17.30

Kayak Parade 2024 - Around the island

We all paddle around the island together. Start in front of Camp Ven.

Not a speed competition but there will be surprise-prizes to: The most creative hat/head decoration

- Grill sausage stop in Kyrkbacken
- Coffee & Hven Durum cinnamon-roll stop in Bäckviken

18.00 Grills on at Camp Ven - outdoor party - dinner-tents to share

Kayak Kalaset is open to everyone - whether you are from Denmark or Sweden - or come from far away, are part of a group of friends, a member of a club, or a lone paddler who likes to share community with like-minded people.

It's about meeting other passionate people who share the same interest in paddling and outdoor life. It's an opportunity to share experiences, tips and stories from the sea, and to create new friendships across national borders.
